Bluestone Equestrian Horse Riding Lessons, Vaulting Lessons, Stabling and Pony Camps

Bluestone Equestrian is situated in Mnandi (12kms from KPC). We host training shows for showing, dressage, jumping and vaulting bi-monthly. We are all about having fun in a relaxed yet competitive and fun-filled environment.

We offer Horse Riding Lessons, Vaulting Lessons, Pony Out rides, Pony Camps and Stabling in Centurion, Pretoria, South Africa. Horse riding lessons are available for all ages, and levels of ability, with a range of options to suit your needs, and your wallet.

BLUESTONE EQUESTRIAN also offers comfortable stabling for your valued steed. At our yard, We make it our top priority to ensure the well being of your horse. We have 2 large spacious paddocks where horses spend most of their time grazing. Horses receive 3 meals per day, grass ad lib and have large comfortable stables to keep them warm at night. With attentive, compassionate grooms residing on the premises to care for your horse, you can rest assured your horse will receive only the best care at all times.

Vaulting is an elegant display of gymnastics on horseback and can be done in the walk or the canter depending on the vaulter and horses ability. It is recognised in the World Equestrian Games. We are very proud to be one of the few yards coaching this beautiful sport and can boast two training barrels, gymnastic equipment and having owned two magnificent vaulting horses (Both of whom have been placed in the Top 5 at Horse of the Year).

We teach lessons to all ages with ponies and horses available for all levels of competence or bring your own horse to the lesson. Our facilities include a 35m x 70m sand jumping arena, 20m x 60m grass arena, large group paddock, and 6 20m x 20m individual/pairs paddocks. Safe outride routes easily accessible nearby. Horse riding teaches children patience and perseverance and gives them a sense of teamwork and responsibility.

At our Pony Camps, children are taught many interesting skills, such as how to feed, groom and tack up a pony, mini lectures on feed, tack and anatomy of the horse, shoeing of hooves, learning to vault safely (gymnastics on horseback), and horse behaviour and how to understand them. Children are placed in groups and work as teams. Activities are all age appropriate and therefore may vary from group to group.
